Cookie Policy

Provided in accordance with the measure of the Italian Data Protection Authority of 10 June 2021, "Guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools".

Last updated: 21 August 2026

1. Purpose of this document

This document sets out the cookies and other tracking tools used by the website albertascardapane.it (hereinafter "the Site"), the purposes for which they are employed, and the ways in which users may give, modify or withdraw their consent.

For any further information concerning the processing of personal data, reference is made to the privacy policy.

2. Data Controller

The Data Controller is Alberta Scardapane, C.da Follani 300, 66034 Lanciano (CH), Italy, email address alberta@seoabruzzo.it.

3. Definitions

Cookies are portions of data that a website sends to the user's device, where they are stored so as to be transmitted back to the same website on subsequent visits. Other tools that allow information to be stored on the device, such as the browser's local storage, are treated in the same way as cookies.

For the purposes of the applicable rules, a distinction is drawn between technical cookies, which are necessary for the operation of the site or for the provision of a service expressly requested by the user and for which no consent is required, and non-technical cookies, including analytics and profiling cookies, which may only be installed with prior consent.

4. Cookies used by the Site

Before the user has made a choice through the banner, the Site installs no cookies and writes no data to the browser's local storage. The scripts of tools subject to consent are not executed until consent has been given.

The Site does not use profiling cookies, nor cookies for advertising or direct marketing purposes.

4.1 Technical cookies

The Site installs no technical cookies of its own. The choice expressed through the banner is kept in the browser's local storage, described in paragraph 4.3, which is not sent to any server along with requests.

4.2 Analytics cookies, installed subject to consent

NameProviderPurposeDuration
_gaGoogle Ireland LimitedDistinguishes visits for the purposes of statistical measurement2 years
_ga_8Z50BZK722Google Ireland LimitedMaintains session state for the purposes of statistical measurement2 years

The cookies referred to in this paragraph are installed by the Google Analytics 4 service solely where the user has given consent. In the absence of consent the service is not activated and the related cookies are not installed.

4.3 Browser local storage

NamePurposeDuration
albertaos-consensoStores the choice made through the banner, so that it is respected and not asked again on every visit6 months, after which the choice is asked again
albertaos-temaStores the user's preference for the light or dark themePersistent, until deleted by the user

Both entries are technical in nature, are not sent to any server along with requests and are not accessible to the Data Controller. The first is written only when the user makes a choice, the second only when the theme is changed. They may be removed at any time by clearing the site data from the browser settings.

5. Giving, modifying and withdrawing consent

On the first visit the Site displays a banner allowing the user to give consent or to refuse it, through two controls of equal prominence. The only non-technical category used by the Site is the statistical one described in paragraph 4.2, which the choice covers in full. Continuing to browse without making a choice does not amount to consent, and until a choice is made the statistical tools are not executed.

Consent may be modified or withdrawn at any time from the "Cookie preferences" entry in the system menu, available on every page of the Site. Withdrawal causes the cookies referred to in paragraph 4.2 to be deleted immediately and does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.

A record of the choice made is retained, as described in section 3.5 of the privacy policy, in order to demonstrate that consent was given.

Users may also manage cookies directly from their browser settings, disabling them or deleting those already installed. The relevant instructions can be found in the documentation of the browser in use. Please note that clearing the site data causes the banner to be displayed again on the next visit.

6. Transfers to third countries

The analytics cookies referred to in paragraph 4.2 are installed by Google Ireland Limited, established in Ireland, which relies on its parent company Google LLC, established in the United States of America. The transfer takes place on the basis of the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission and of the adherence to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

7. Rights of the data subject

The rights granted by Articles 15 to 22 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, and the means of exercising them, are set out in the privacy policy, to which reference is made.

8. Amendments to this cookie policy

The Data Controller reserves the right to amend this cookie policy as a result of the introduction or removal of tracking tools. Amendments are published on this page, and the date shown at the top is updated accordingly. Where amendments concern tools subject to consent, consent is requested again through the banner.
